TRAINING WORKSHOPS
WORKSHOP 1 : INTERPERSONAL LEADERSHIP SKILLS : COMMUNICATING FOR RESULTS
"The art of communication is the language of leadership" James Humes
When things are running smoothly, most of us communicate pretty well. But the stress of constant change, of having more to do with less, of confusion over roles and responsibilities, creates the perfect environment for misunderstandings and miscommunication.
We may be animated by the best intentions, but if we don’t know how communication works, if we can’t identify specifically what is going on and what we need to do to make things right, we can very well end up facing conflict or sabotage. Producing results can then become particularly trying…
Effective interpersonal communication confers power on those who do it well : the power to promote mutual understanding, to increase commitment, to develop trust. It is the key to achieving while at the same time improving relationships.
Anyone in a leadership position greatly benefits from being an effective communicator. To help you develop these skills, this seminar :
throws light on the dynamics of communication : the more you know how they work, the more you can be in charge of them, and the more you can decide on the best course of action in any given situation.

WORKSHOP 2 : TRIGGERING MOTIVATION : WORDS THAT CHANGE MINDS
"Motivation is the art of getting people to do what you want them to do because they want to do it" Dwight D. Einsenhower
Triggering motivation at work is perceived as one of the most difficult challenges of leadership. Why is it that we are able to trigger motivation in some people and not in others ? How is it that even though we have the best arguments and know how to convey them, some people simply aren’t receptive – either closing up as oysters or showing irritation…?
Every day, in every situation, people communicate through subconscious motivation patterns : the WAY they talk, rather than what they say, reveals their subconscious triggers. This is why they respond immediately when someone "speaks their language" to communicate with them or conversely why they “switch off” when someone doesn’t match their language patterns.
The Language and Behaviour Profile (LAB Profile) is a tool that allows you to detect the language patterns people use and to respond with just the right influencing language.
It is a set of about a dozen questions that you can feed into casual conversation. You pay attention to HOW people talk when they answer, rather than what they talk about. Even if the person answers the question indirectly, or not at all, he or she will reveal a pattern. As we become familiar with the questions and the kind of responses people give, we discover the patterns people use without having to actually ask the questions. You can then immediately use the influencing language appropriate for the situation and trigger their motivation.
Enhance your leadership skills and acquire practical real world ideas and skills easy to apply in your everyday professional life . You will be able to :
Recognize what will stimulate and maintain someone’s motivation
Match your language to theirs to spark off interest and motivation
Establish a deep level of rapport and communicate with anyone
